An Arboretum Elopement

Colton and Lauren originally had plans to get married in the Bay Area on June 13th, 2020. As we all know how every wedding story will go for 2020 their plans had to change because of the virus. Lauren had originally wanted to elope to begin with so this unfortunate event had worked out in her favor. She returned her Anthropologie wedding gown and replaced it with an elegant white linen dress.
Instead of getting ready separately for their big day, Colton and Lauren got ready in their home together.
Trying to decide who could come to the elopement and who couldn’t they decided to keep it simple and only have their friend to officiate the wedding (and me to photograph) while all their friends and family watched over zoom.

Their vows were so personal and so very them. As they both couldn’t hold back tears they hugged and laughed and said their I dos.

After I parted ways with them they went home to eat some take out delivered by a friend and enjoyed a quiet night as a married couple.
